Inspiring Discovery
UBC Let's Talk Science strives to improve science, technology, engineering and mathematics literacy through the outreach efforts of members of the research community at the University of British Columbia. Our volunteers work with youth from elementary and secondary schools to ignite science excitement and share their knowledge with eager young minds.
Community Events
Throughout the year, Let’s Talk Science volunteers are involved in one-off local events. In the past, our volunteers have acted as science fair judges, set up booths at science-engineering festivals, presented at conferences and coordinated science activities at summer camps. Community events are perfect for volunteers who aren’t able to commit to our more structured programs but still want to participate in science outreach.
